| Guest | Profiles to reply by email please remove SPAM from the email address. I have a problem with LOCAL profiles and Remote Desktop Connection. I have seen this for quite sometime and thought it was a local profile problem. or shadow copy error. Another Tech I work with has experienced the same thing on his computer when using RDP. I just got a new PC and installed Vista64 Ultimate on it, the user is a network user with a local profile. when logging into the PC remotely it loads a profile from "somewhere" with a bunch of stuff, about 6 GB of data. the desktop is one from about 4 months ago, including a "Vista ISO Image" and Office 2007 ISO on the desktop. the user does NOT use or have a roaming profile so every new PC login "should" be clean. question where do I remove this old information, how do I stop it from happening again? user is part of the ADmin group in a Win 2000/2003 domain. The new PC has Vista 64 bit on it and the profile is from a 32 bit install. Thanks in advance John Prettie |
