| | windows experience index just built a new system. amd 64x2 6000+, 2g ddr2 800, 250 g sata2, 2 nvidia 8600gt running sli. when windows installed it tested the proformance and rated my graphics at 1. that sucks. but i have my drivers installed and sli inabled now. when i go to see what it is now. it tell me that i new hardware detect need to be refreshed . so i tell it to do that. it runs through it fine. goes back to the other screen still saying the same thing. i tried a couple times with some different drivers. im not sure what to do. please help. |

| | Re: windows experience index Take a look in your display properties / advanced and see if your 3d stuff is enabled or not. You should certainly get a much better score than that - I had 2.4 on my nVidia 6150 (laptop) and boosted it to 3.1 by tweaking the 3d settings... Are you running nVidia's latest driver of the week? If you still get a 1, yet everything graphic is reasonably fast, maybe there's a bug where it can't handle dual SLI boards or something...maybe pull one board and see if that's better. | | RE: windows experience index I had the same problem with my PNY 8800GTS until I downloaded the newest nVidia beta driver, and made it the first driver installed after a fresh install of Vista. ajf Lately the bleeding edge seems to be more bleeding than edge.
