Vista - windows stopping and restarting

i dont have a problem logging into the computer but when i go to any of our
desktops, immediately i start getting a msg saying that windows explorer has
stopped working and that windows is searching for a solution. then i get the
msg that windows is restarting. the explorer stops and starts continuously.
ive tried everything i can think of. i have a new emachine with vista. the
task bar is flashing on and off, the start button. i scanned for viruses and
spyware and i had both.

please help

The fix is simple:
1.Shut down computer.
2. Reboot and hit the F8 Key continusly until you see prompt.
3. Choose restore in safe mode and date.
4. Reboot and log on.

u have to get windows re-installed. Sorry but that is the only solution. as
this happened to me and i sent the computer to a computer clinic and the
technician installed windows again for me and done a restore of the system so
i would'nt lose any data.

if u have have got infected with spyware/virus it has damaged the windows
directory. causing explorer.exe to keep restarting. thats what happened to
my computer
