Speech performance

Hi, all
I'm planning on using the following hardware/software to use voice command
feature in Vista and would like to get an estimate on performance:

CPU Intel C2D E6420
Ram: 3GB DDR2 800 DRAM
Board: Intel P965
HDisk: 2x40GB, PATA 7200rpm
Optical: DVD-RW x18
Headset: Logitech USB headset with noise cancellation
Software: Vista Ultimate + Office 2007

With the above config, can I get < 1sec response for all voice commands?
What is the CPU/MEM utilization?
(I just need a ballpark figure to make sure speech technology is practical
to use now).

Thanks,
Vincent
