Vista - delete doc temp files in vista

i regularly clean up my temp internet files, cookies...etc. i noticed a
folder called "doc temp"(never saw this in xp). is this just another temp
folder?? can i delete it's contents without causing myself any
problems..thanks

I have this too, it is called doctemp and is on the C drive. It contains,
for me, a folder called edoc0, this contains gif files and html files.
These are useless things like how to personalize your desktop and what to do
if your computer stops responding. Total size is 81.7KB for me.

i see it in os(c when i show hidden files and hidden os files.

Must be specific to some program. I don't have that on any of my Vista
installations.

glad u saw it--was beginning to think i was posting a foolish question. my
doctemp is almost 8mb and has 6 folders usually beginning with 2 letters and
4 numbers. i am kinda leary about of deleting them although i am tempted.
please let me know if u talk with anyone who has deleted them..thanks
