windows mail/outlook

Hi,
I am using vista but recently setup "ms office" which has overidden the
vista mail as my mail programme! How can I get it back please?tia.

Hi, Stuart,

Which version of office did you install? That probably doesn't matter, but
you should be able to get Windows Mail back by:

1) Uninstall Outlook.

2) In Windows Mail, open the Tools\Options dialog. At the bottom, you'll
see two buttons to set it as the default program for email and news. Click
them both.

That should do it.

He shouldn't need to uninstall Outlook, just make Windows Mail the
default...

You're right. I suggested it only to prevent future confusion since he
doesn't need it.

I would prefer to use Outlook because it syncs with my Blackberry which
Windows Mail does not appear to do. How do I uninstall Windows mail.

You can't uninstall Windows Mail. Just remove any accounts from it, and
quit using it.
