| | uninstall not working i want to uninstall a program start/control panel/ uninstall it shows all my program and says to click uninstll or repair but the button to uninstall/ repair insant there? theres nothing to click? how do i get them to show up? i am the adminastraor also and am log in as such. -- Thanks John |

| | Re: uninstall not working Some programs don't have a built-in uninstaller. Which program is it? You might have to do a manual uninstall. | | Re: uninstall not working Well, if it's any comfort to you, you are not alone. There is someone else in these groups now with a severely mucked up Programs and Features. And there have been others before. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think they found an easy solution. If the program does not come with an uninstall option on the Start Menu, or in its program folder, and System Restore does not work, then perhaps ***shudder*** a reinstall of Vista may be necessary. -- I Bleed Blue and Gold GO BEARS! | | Re: uninstall not working I had the same problem, tried a few uninstall programs, but only one came close to solving the problem, I think you should try it: Advanced Uninstall Pro from version 8.3 by Innovative Solutions. Good Luck! |
