PerfectDisk offline defrag and vista

Hi all,

I am unable at this point to stay with vista. I have some 3rd party
programs that Vista will not let run properly. If anyone has any ideas
as to how to rectify these problems, please write.

PerfectDisk (Raxco) - UAC will not let the utility do proper offline
defrag. Elevated right required. No pass on in program setup.

Firewall - Does NOT have full flexibility to properly configure some
internet programs. Specifically ones requiring rules which address
multiple protocols.

PrintMaster - Disagrees with IE7 core drivers - Installs Dot Net
Framework 1.1 core (required by net graphics catalog).

SoundBlaster x-fi xtreme audio. Driver installs but does not address the
"What U Hear" (or bridged audio) setting. I require these to import
sound from websites.

As I stated earlier, anyone who has a knowledge how to remedy these
programs problems, please write.
