Vista Tutorial - Photo Gallery won't open pictures

All of the photos show in the gallery but if you try to open one it won't
open. This just started and there was a message about not enough memory.
I've checked and I have loads of memory. Does anyone know what is happening
and how to correct it?

Have you tried a system restore to before the issue occurred?

> Yes, I tried that it didn't help. The pictures open fine in other programs but not in Photo Gallery.

Use the default driver for your monitor, i.e. the one vista installs as
Generic PNP monitor.
