Blue Screen

I bought this new Dell, Windows Vista system in April and haven't had much
time to play with it yet. My problem is that I get a recurring Blue Screen
fairly often. I get it most often when I am trying to do things with my
photos. The only software that I have installed on the system outside the
Dell installed Software is Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 for Vista.
My system is this:
Dell Dimension C521
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ 2.4GHz
958 MB RAM, 32-Bit OS
222 GB Hard Drive

Here is my problem, from the Blue Screen:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 50
BCP1: E1662604
BCP2: 00000000
BCP3: 89FCA082
BCP4: 00000002
OS Version: 6_0_6000
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini062807-01.dmp
C:\Users\Dad\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-85909-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\Dad\AppData\Local\Temp\WER1054.tmp.version.txt

Re: Blue Screen

Hi,

Can you send the sysdata.xml file to me at the email address used here? Use
a subject line of 'per req' to get past the filters.

RE: Blue Screen

download The Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) Primer from
http://www.sun.com/desktop/products/sunpci/bsod.pdf It opens as a pdf file in
ur browser. Click on 'save a copy' to save it.

Incidentally Aumha is a very good resource, which gives solutions to most
BSOD's.
http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm

You can also get your BSOD auto-analysed at the Microsoft® Online Crash
Analysis.
If you experience a Blue Screen crash event, or Stop error, while using
Microsoft Windows, you can upload the error report to this site for analysis.
