help with display

I think that trying to update my graphics driver may have caused this
problem. My laptop screen has black bars flickering all over the screen, it
mainly happens when I move the mouse or use the keyboard. does anybody know a
way I can get rid of the bars flickering? I already tried to reset the driver
version back to its original version, but the problem was still there, same
w/ simply just restarting the computer. I had problems updating the driver at
first, then the problem started.

See if you can see the driver in add / remove programs. If it's there
then make sure you have a good download of the new one and be prepared
to set up your display over again. Uninstall the old one and reboot, the
install the new one. Over the top video driver installs often don't work
right because if something is in use at the time it may not be
overwritten, leaving you with a system that's half and half.

See if anyone offers a better solution before trying this, there may be
another, simpler answer but if not maybe this will work.
