Vista - Game playing

these stting are weird.First, when i play Guild wars on the setting of
display on windows vista standard. My fps(frame rate per second) on Guild
wars is like 30-40fps. But when i set it to windows vista basic on display
it goes all the way down to a constent 8 fps nomatter what. I am wondering
if you guys make it so basic can go as fast as vista standard. Oh and im
using vista home basic for this.

oh i forgot to add my specs on my computer

Motherboard: MSI PM8M-V
Ram: 2 double-side 1gb pc-3200(ddr400)
Video: Nvidia 7600 GS OC(AGP)
Processor: 3.4ghz pentium 4 prescott
Hard Drive: 7200rpm seagate 500gb sata

why would u want to use vista basic if thats the case you may as well use XP

use a premium version of vista like windows home premium

certain gaming and video features are not available in vista basic
