Restore points and shadow copies

Is there a way to control or delete the number of restore points or
shadow copies that Vista creates. I have more than 50 and it
definately takes up more than 15% (closer to 30%) of my drive which is
ridiculous!

thanks

Re: Restore points and shadow copies

Hi,

Yes, but it's not a simple setting, see:

It is not particularly difficult to do, but you do need to read up first so
you know what you are doing. I used vssadmin to set mine to just 5 gig as I
rarely need the backups. My restore etc was also taking up a lot more space
than they said it would, mine hit around 25-30%.
