Windows Vista

I've recently downloaded a program that contained some B.S. antivirus
software ( i already run AvG) and have since uninstalled it, but the problem
is that my windows keeps on restarting, but not entirely.

The desktop reloads itself and only allows my AVG program to stay open. I
get a dialog box that says my Windows Explorer cannot operate and the cycle
repeats. I scanned my PC for viruses and got nothing, but am wondering if
there is a good way to revamp my machine without loosing all of my data?
If not, then what is the best way to restart Vista without being too
vulnerable to viruses?

Re: Windows Vista

Do a System Restore to a point just before you installed the "B.S." program if
possible.
