This afternoon I successfully removed the Looksky trojan from my mates
computer.

However, one small problem, it has gone from all the user accounts in
Windows XP, but every time anyone quits IE it comes up with an error box
"The instruction at 0x021338e referenced memory at 0x022237d4. The memory
could not be read"



Can anyone help please and advise what to do to rectify the problem?

Hi,

As this problem is with IE and XP, you may be better off bringing this
question to a group that supports them.

Try going into Tools/Internet Options in IE and on the programs tab click on
'manage add-ons'. Disable the non-Microsoft entries that are loading with
IE.
