| | No settings are being saved!?! None of the settings I put in place stay that way after a restart. I am using a Dell laptop with a external monitor attached. I tell Picasa (a free program from google) not to place a icon in the system tray. I tell it where I want the volume icon where to appear when used (provided by dell - part of the quickset program) I tell it the resolution and location of the external monitor. After I restart it is as though I have made no changes. Picasa is back in the system tray, the quickset volume returns to its origanal location and the monitor goes back to its first settings. -- "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
