Hi

I have just upgrade to Vista, and I am now unable to delete any files or
folders. When I right click and delete, or drag to bin, the process hangs on
the "Calculating time remaining" pop-up, it does not seem to begin the
process as the progress bar remains empty, and before you ask yes I have only
tried to delete small files.

Any suggestions?

The problem is down to the Windows Search Service, another sympton is that Outlook will only open in safe mode and file renames complete but the explorer window hangs. Soltion : Set the Windows Search to disabled and reboot
