Re: NOT SHUTTING DOWN.......

Hello,

try disabling the CBCS service, by pressing Windows-key + R ->
services.msc -> Enter -> Double-click" CyberLink Background .... " -> Click
Stop (if possible), and then choose "Manual" or "Disabled" in Startup type.
If possible, try upgrading your CyberLink software.

Hope this helps.
Greetings,

Re: NOT SHUTTING DOWN.......

I have been having same problems.
It looks like CyberLink CBCS services are included as part of HP QuickPlay TV capture (at least in same folder, part of media capture it appears).

Located in...
"C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\QuickPlay\Kernel\TV\CLCapSvc.exe"

CyberLink scheduler located in...
"C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\QuickPlay\Kernel\TV\CLSched.exe"

I upgraded to latest QuickPlay software and same problem exists. I have since disabled services for CyberLink and everything appears okay now... otherwise I see performance issues and hangs on service starting... Grant
