| Guest | MMS Project Items:: For Microsoft Corporation: EN-US Special Editi Hi. I've got 1 problem and i want you to prevent Windows Vista from it. When i play games or load very powerful programmes, such as IDE part of a programmes are replaced by Windows XP in a virtual memory from physical. It slows down all the processes, that are in virtual memory, and of cource, you know why. I want to see Windows Vista with automated Memory Managment System(MMS, i called it). It will dynamically use memory and will replace active processes from virtual to physical memory, if physical is large enough. I first met this one problem, when playing games. I have a program, created by myself, that shows me physical memory load and placed in the tray. Look, BEFORE playing game i had 65% loaded, AFTER ~30%. No processes were terminated. No memory was unloaded. It just gone in virtual, on HDD. After it happened my PC works very slow. Problem may be resolved by restarting PC or opening many IDE's. When i unload them all, memory load is above 50%, all comes stable and PC works at a medium speed. It really slows down work. It would be very nice, if Memory Management System moves block of virtual memory back to physical, after exiting games or programmes. You know, how it will be cool? Think about this system, cause it will make PC work stable and fast, even when memory usage is too high. MMS will place blocks of memory from virtual to physical by calculating the most writable/readable apps and libraries from a list of processes, threads, etc. Your full version of VI with MMS will be sold in a very small period, I swear. Users and programmers like me will understand that Vista is real best OS for programming, working and gaming. Sincerly yours, Konstantin. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
