| | Re: Readyboost - which 2GB SD card? well i did place my thought as a question - first time i'd heard of it... Looking into it a bit deeper, here's some links though i found which may give you some clues to look out for on the specs and that.... sounds like the most important things are that you use an internal SD card reader and your SD card is upto a certain speed... check out the links... | | Re: Readyboost - which 2GB SD card? Probably none. Readyboost only works with USB thumb drives having at least 2 gig of space.. I have an Apacer Internal built card reader. and tried all my SD cards one having 4 gig of memory and the other 2 gig. both failed. This is because SD cards are way too slow for readyboost. and only Flash USB drives are compatible with this technology "William" <wyum@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:eamdTSM%23HHA.5456@xxxxxx Quote: >I have tried to run Ready boost from several SD cards without much luck. >Does anyone have any idea which SD cards will support Ready boost? > -Bill |

| | Re: Readyboost - which 2GB SD card? A minimum pf 2 gig is not a requirement (256 mb ). A USB bus meets the read/write specs therefore certification depends on drive specs. Not so with SD- SD bus may not meet specs in additon to the card requirement. Also device certification depends upon the Win Expereince Index of the HD.
