    Vista memory clogging up

My work involves copying text from web pages and pasting into Word documents.
After about an hour or sometimes less of doing this insufficient memory
messages occur, web pages and documents will not open - even though I may
only have two web pages and three Word docs open at any one time.
I have to close everything down and restart the system.
Is there some way of clearing memory to overcome this?

    Windows Vista Home Premium
Pentium 4 about 8 months old. 2 GB memory.

You might try going to the control panel,

Click Classic view at the top left,
Double click Internet Options and under Browsing History,
    Click Delete.

You can also download - CCLEANER
which is free, for a neat disk cleaner that gets rid of a lot of extra junk.

    Good Luck,
    Jerry

It's probably due to the Office clipboard which, unlike the Windows
clipboard, stores multiple items. You don't say what version of Word you're
using, but see this for some general info.
