Quick Launch Bar: Deleting a Shortcut takes ages!

Hello,

Indeed, I noticed that whenever I want to delete a Shortcut
on it, the mouse-cursor "ring" starts spinning for...EVER!!

So in order to accomplish successfully such task, I have no
option but to move the mouse-cursor (with its still spinning
ring) onto the desktop (where it converts immediately into an
arrow) and it's ONLY THEN when I do left-click the mouse
that I obtain AT ONCE the pop-up window asking me if I
really wanna delete this selected shortcut (!).

So I'm now wondering if I'm the only "victim" of this flaw or
not (?). And of course: any valuable tip would be appreciated.

With very best regards,
Philippe

PS:
The mouse-arrow is of course always present; only the
additional spinning (busy) "ring" disappears, as soon as
I move the cursor away from the Quick Launch Bar onto
the Desktop screen - okay.

Re: Quick Launch Bar: Deleting a Shortcut takes ages!

Clarification:
The mouse-arrow is of course always present; only the
additional spinning (= busy) "ring" disappears, as soon
as I move the cursor away from the Quick Launch Bar
section onto the Desktop screen - okay.
