There is no sound on my web pages using window internet explorer at
www.kurtknoll.com. also it does not play any music cd's I but in. At times
it says windows media player is not responding. The program asks me to
download window player update right from the Microsoft site. When trying to
install it says the version is newer that the version installed and will
stop with the installation process. I'am at a loss because the computer came
with windows and al the programs installed and no disk or instructions.

Check in Control Panel > Default Programs > Set your Default Programs,
and make sure Windows Media Player has all its defaults when you click on
"Choose defaults for this program."
