Re: New Microsoft IntelliPoint Drivers (ver. 6.2)

I'm having some similar problems... sort of;

After installing SP3, I noticed a few problems.

One MAIN problem being missing Ram. I have 2 GB's of Ram installed (Win XP
Home - SP3), and occassionally after a reboot, it only shows up 1.5 GB or 1
GB of Ram. Where the hell did the other 512 MB or 1024 MB go ??

I just purchased the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 Keyboard/Mouse
combo pack to replace the Logitech piece of trash I had before that
constantly refused to work (Returned it for a full refund). I want to install
the Intellipoint Ver 6.2 that came with it, yet it says it's already
installed... õ_O I never installed v6.2 before. Granted, it is listed in
the Add/Remove programs area, but it gives absolutely NO options to be able
to Uninstall it, just like in shows in your picture.

How in the heck can I install the old version to install the new version
when it won't let me uninstall the older version if there isn't an
uninstaller?

Anyone at Microsoft listening - HELP?!
