| | Windows Experience Index Recently updated my BIOS on an ADUS P5W Deluxe motherboard. Index previous to updating was 5.1 as the processor was the lowest index. Now the index has dropped to 4.7 as it shows the processor is the lowest reading. Anyone any idea why it shoud have dropped? E6400 2 Duo and not overclocked. Running Vist Home perium. Thanks John |

It is misleading at best, and often completely wrong. Do you notice any decrease in performance? Unless the answer is yes, my advice is to ignore the number. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Please Reply to the Newsgroup |

To get the number higher? That was a lot of work for such a trivial reason!
