| | Programs/Applications running I have programs running all the time on my computer and it is pretty slow. There are about 25 programs running all the time. Is this normal? Can I stop these progams from running except for when I need hem? |

If they are system programs from Vista, then they will most likely need to be left alone. You can check the Startup programs list to see if there are programs you do not want to run at the startup of Vista. You can just "Disable" them first to test if everything will run ok without them at first, then "Remove" them later if it ok. Method one in this tutorial will show you how. You can look at the Startup Programs list from my eariler post to see if you want to trim any of those programs you do not need. Shawn |
