Vista - Fax & Scan Closing

Hi All !

I am trying to use a Fujitsu fi-5120C Scanner in the following way:
I´d like to start scanning (one or more pages) and save the
documentfile (TIF) to the disk.
In Windows XP, I just started Windows Fax- & Scan by the Scanner-
Software and it saved the file as it was setup and the application
closed again.

In Windows Vista, the Windows Fax- & Scan-Application remains open
after Scanning and saving the file. How can I get the Application
closing automatically after scanning ? I don´t use it for any other
puroposes than saving the scan to one single file.

Please don´t suggest me to use third party software. It was running
with this software and must run again after changing the OS.

Ich möchte eine oder mehrere Seiten scannen und das Ergebnis in ein
einzelnes TIF-File speichern.
In Windows XP habe ich Windows Fax- & Scan über die Scansoftware
angesprochen und das hat das Scanergebnis wie eingestellt einfach
abgespeichert und hat sich dann wieder geschlossen.
In Windows Vista bleibt die Applikation nach dem Speichern aber offen.
Wie kriege ich es hin, daß sie Applikation sich wieder automatisch
schließt ? Ich brauche sie ja schließlich nicht, ich habe ja das File
auf der Platte.

Bitte keine Vorschläge für irgendwelche Software-Tools mit denen man
das alles besser machen kann. Das ging ja vorher auch und warum sollte
das nur wegen des Betriebssystemwechsels nun nicht mehr gehen ?

Windows XP had no such program. If your scanner's software behaves the way
you want, why don't you use it? Windows Fax and Scan is behaving as
designed. Read the Help files:
"When the scan is complete, Windows Fax and Scan automatically displays the
document so that you can view and manage it."
