| | Re: Printer in Remote desktop/Terminal services. Hello I recently bought a New Laptop with Microsoft Vista Home Premium. I started using it which works great. I have a local printer which is working absolutely fine but when i connect to a Terminal server using remote desktop i cannot see the local printer like i use to see using Windows XP or any other computer. What do i need to do other than loading drivers on both the server and local computer. I Loaded drivers on server and local computer. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks in Advance -- Sree |

| | Re: Printer in Remote desktop/Terminal services. You should see TS event 1111 stating that the printer could not be used because the driver is missing. Yes the print driver needs to be installed on the TS server. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];kbhowto This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | | Re: Printer in Remote desktop/Terminal services. I cannot able to open the URL. It says it got expired. The drivers are there on the server and if i connect to Terminal Services using Windows XP or 2000 it is working fine. I am having hard time only when i connect terminal services using Windows Vista Operating system. I hope this information is going to be helpful.
