I've tried to delete a print job that was not working, but after deleting, it
has been stuck in the queue for two days. I can't uninstall and re-install
the printer until the job is totally deleted. Have I encountered a "Catch 22"?

Hi - Did you manage to sort out how to delete a document stuck in the
printer queue?
I have this problem with Windows Vista Home and my HP Photosmart C7180
printer and it means I cannot print anything at all. I have tried to
turn everything off and on and leave it overnight but it makes no
difference!

Go to start/run and type: net stop spooler
This will close all open jobs.
to restart, type: net start spooler
