Trouble Using "properties" option when printing

Hi. I have Windows VISTA Home Premium and am connected to a network HP Color
LaserJet 2605dn at my office. When I go to print (in Word, Excel, etc), and
click on the "properties..." option, a pop-up message says "Function address
0x660aa5aa caused a protection fault. (Exception code 0xc0000005) Some or all
property page(s) may not be displayed."

This means I cannot change my print options. Can you suggest how I can fix
this? Thanks!

Jon

RE: Trouble Using "properties" option when printing

Hi,

Have you to completly remove the printer s/w / drivers and then do the
latest ones

let me know if still facing issues.

RE: Trouble Using "properties" option when printing

First open administrative tools and go into services--
stop the print spool service-
next go into the c:\windows\system32\spool directory and delete everything
in it
if you get access protection errors deleting the files-skip the file
next start the print spool service
Now reload the driver and see if that fixes it
