| Vista Ultimate x32 | Windows Fax and Scan I have Windows Vista Ultimate OS. The Windows Fax and Scan software previously worked but now when I try to run it I get an immediate error message - Microsoft Windows Fax and Scan Has Stopped Working. I can seem to find a fix for it nor can I open the software. And I have not made any changes to the system other then the numerous Microsoft Updates that have been installed. Any suggestions? |

| | Re: Windows Fax and Scan We're at a disadvantage. You were there. We weren't. There are no reports of WFS just stopping for no reason. You must have some clue. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "jmjprince" <jmjprince.32s9ez@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:jmjprince.32s9ez@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net... | Vista Ultimate x32 | Re: Windows Fax and Scan You know, if I had a clue I would have fixed it. The service is stopped and everytime I try to start it, it says that "the dependency group or service fails to start". I have no clue what to do with that. |

| | Re: Windows Fax and Scan Then look at the permissions set for the Fax Service. And think harder about what you changed. This is end user error. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "jmjprince" <jmjprince.32sh22@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:jmjprince.32sh22@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net...
