Re: Printer cannot read registry key?

Printer is online but I do not know how to check if thes pooler service is
running. Another development - the printer now prints but at an agonisingly
slow pace. After selecting "print" on a document nothing happens for a full
five minutes and then the printing starts "in spurts" at a very slow pace -
about three minutes for a two page word document.???

Re: Printer cannot read registry key?

    Open Task Manager
    Processes

Show processes for all users, you should get an admin prompt.

    find spoolsv.exe

    Find the CPU column

    Now print the job

does the CPU spike for the application or spoolsv.exe? This would cause a
    delay.

Either way Cari has a solution that works 95% of the time, delete and
reinstall. Be sure to download any Dell driver uninstall utility, then
delete the printer and driver and reinstall.

    Alan,
Spoolsv.exe is not running. (I have uninstalled and reinstalled the
driver and software several times since this trouble began - to no avail)
