| Guest | Printing is too slow Hello, I installed myself Windows Vista Business on my desktop at the office. Only problem I have is with printing: I'm connected with 2 printers (both network) - a HP laser jet 1220 and Konica Minolta Business Hub 250. The hp printer is installed on my colleague computer and I don't have big problems with it. The printing takes a little bit more time than on XP before and sometimes the system asks me to install the driver again. The Konica has own network card and a static IP address, so I installed it like local printer on an IP port. The problem with this printer is that it takes too long time for applications to print on it. I have to wait sometimes even 10 minutes for a document to be printed and during this time the programs stop to respond: I tried with both - standard Windows drivers and also drivers from manufacturer - the same result. Anyone to have an idea how can I solve this? Otherwise I will go back to XP. |
