Spooler, vista and acrobat reader

If I try to print from acrobat reader (8.1), (vista home premium) to HP
LJ1020, the printer is stuck. I have to remove it from registry and
reinstall it. It work fin until I try to print from adobe reader. Are any
work around.

RE: Spooler, vista and acrobat reader

If you find out what the real problem is? I'd sure like to know as well. I'm
running Vista Business Edition and trying to print to an HP Laser Jet 1022
attached to my kids Vista Home Premium machine on our home network. It was
working and now it's not....Acrobat may have broken it????

Re: Spooler, vista and acrobat reader

OK. On the com. where printer is installed (vista) press start and type
regedit to go to registry. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MASHINE then SYSTEM then
ControlSet001 then Print then Printers. In the folder printers remove all
installed printer (LJ 1022). Reinstall printer drivers. This worked for me.
Of cause I can't print from adobe but word, internet and E-mail work fin
with printer.

Re: Spooler, vista and acrobat reader

First thing to try is unisntall Acrobat Reader, reboot the PC, print from
some other application..... then re-download and reinstall Acrobat. It does
sound like it's an Adobe issue.
