Vista - Sending Faxes to receipients with Faxphones

Could some one please tell me how to configure WFS to send faxes to people
with fax phones, what i mean by this is some of my colleagues have
non-dedicated fax lines, ie they use it for both phone and fax, so there fax
machines send out a message to please hold the line whilst they're fax
machine is waiting to hear fax tones. WFS picks this up as line engaged, is
there any way around it?

I have no idea what you're asking. It looks like you're saying that one of
these "faxphones" will reply with a message of some sort asking you to wait
while the fax receive function is being started and that this message causes
Fax and Scan to time out and not send. If this is the case, try adding
several commas to the end of the number you dial. Each comma adds a 2-3
second delay to the dial sequence. If you needed to keep Fax and Scan busy
for 10 seconds while this announcement is being sent to you, add 5 commas to
the end of the number dialed; this will keep your fax modem busy for the
necessary 10 seconds. If this isn't what you want, please restate your
question with enough detail so we know what you're trying to do.
