| Newbie Rep Power: 5  |  Network Printer very slow I just received my new Dell laptop with Vista Business edition. I have a Konica Minolta 2300DL printer connected to my network via a ethernet cable. I am running the vista laptop and 2 other XP laptops wirelessly on the network. I downloaded and installed the Vista drivers for my printer and had everything setup and working fine. I then finished installing all of my applications and tried to print from Word. The laptop said the print job was pending and then after about 5 minutes it said it had printed; but it had not. It finally printed about 15 minutes later. I was able to print from both the XP laptops during this time without delays. I have researched this and cannot seem to find a solution, other than maybe the spooler is not working right. But I can't be restarting the spooler everytime I want to print. Thanks for any help you can give me. |
