Connect to printer error

I have Canon MP460. 2 comps in same workgroup with Vista 32 home. When I try
to connect to printer from other computer I get an error:
"Windows cannot connect to printer. Operation could not be completed (error
0x00000012)."
Canons customer support says its Windows error and they does not support
network connections.

Googling situation gives no relevant results ...
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

18 ERROR_NO_MORE_FILES <--> 0x80000006 STATUS_NO_MORE_FILES

Since Canon does not support the printer as a connection, create a Local
printer on the machine that does not have the printer connected on USB, and
create a Local Port in the form \\remotemachinename\printersharename (if
you used the default share name, rename it to exclude the spaces). Then add
the same driver to the second machine.
