Vista-XP Shared Printer

I have an hp PSC 750 connected to an XP machine. I am trying to print via
wireless connection from my Vista machine. I have installed the printer on
Vista, I have it selected as the default printer and it's status is Ready but
when I print to it nothing happens, no error message or anything.

This setup worked previously XP-XP, I replaced the remote XP machine with a
new Vista machine.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Vista-XP Shared Printer

Navigate to the Printers folder. Highlight the printer and delete it. Next,
run the Add Printer wizard. Choose network. follow on-screen prompts. Elect
to keep driver. Try printing.

Let us know.

Re: Vista-XP Shared Printer

Have you try to make an local printer port on the Vista computer?

Add a printer
Add a local printer
Create a new port
Local Port
\\remotemachine\printershare
Select print driver
Printer name
