Vista - DOT4_001 Problems with VISTA Ultimate SP1 HP Officejet K80

::I try printing to this USB printer that connects to Dot4_001 printer
port but the printer does not react at all Print spooler reports error
restarts automatically and the errors again.::
::See event log entry below.::

::The printer could print, scan and fax before my SP1 update . Have
removed and reinstalled SP1 to no avail.::


::I am now trying to delete this port but the system will not allow me
to do so or how can I create a DOT4_002 port ?::
::PNP process does not seem to delete entry with printer disconnected
and after several reboots. Printer works using TCP port but then I
cannot scan and fax.::
