Vista - Vista Ultimate - FGAX RECEIVE won't work

sigh - why did i EVER get this product! I had NO problemsd sending asnd
receiving FAXes in XP but now in Vista Ultimate not only does microsoft fail
to recognise other nastions telephone number formatsd and force a mask for
number entry that does NOT accomodate Australian numbers but now, despite
successfully sending a FAx after tweaking the mask I can NOt receive any
FAXes. The FAX is answered as a FAX but then fails to receive.

Any ideas on resolving either issue above?

The fax service did not change it how it dials phone numbers or answers
incoming calls. Start examining your own settings and dialing rules. Details

Not sure I agree that there is a "simple" solution out there. I've never
found dialing rules to be simple, especially when the location to which you
are dialing is in another country. At any rate, you are in the realm of
Windows telephony and dialing rules and not fax at this point--not an area I
have either the time or occasion to explore.
