Vista - Print problem using windows photo gallery

I wanted to see if my HP 450 series printer would work with Pre RC1 build. I saw that it had drivers so I let it install. If I open a PDF file and print it works fine and if I print from paint it works but if I print from Windows Photo Gallery it prints 5 or 6 dots and thats all.

I will Install my EPSON printer which worked in public build and see if I have the same problem but thought I throw this problem out to see if anyone had the same problem

I installed the Epson printer and it works with Windows Picture Viewer so it must be something with the HP 450 series printer. Could this be a driver problem.

I submitted feedback to Microsoft but dont expect any help from them. Has anyone got any suggestions? Is there a setting that I'm missing. Should I try a driver for a different model? I know the XP drivers dont work.

I was able to reproduce your issue on Vista RC1 with the dj450. The problem
does seem to be unique to this device, other USB printers I tried worked
fine. I'll have a developer look into it. I'm assuming that you meant a PNG
file, not a PDF though. I was able to reproduce the problem with a PNG file.
Printing from Mspaint and Adobe Photoshop worked fine, but not from Windows
Photo Gallery. I'll post again when I know more information. Thank you for
your patience.

thanks for responding. Im not very good at explinations but glad to see its not something I did

Just an update on this. The problem has been discovered and it affects
multiple HP drivers printing via Photo Gallery. A fix will be checked in
soon.

Final update. This has been fixed in latest builds. I verified with a Hp
dj450 this morning.

Its not working in build 5728. Ive done a clean install and even gone into device manager and tried updating drive which says that I have the most recent driver.
