| | fax loses 9 as a prefix Hi all I am having a problem with windows ultimate and the windows fax utility. The windows fax software is is not using my location IE dial 9 for outside line, I can get it to work manually but it will not default to the dial 9 option. Any ideas? I am thinking uni stalling the fax program and installing it again. Although i do not know if it is possible as it is the in-built win vista one. I am taking some time off this problem as i have have been looking around for a solution a good 3 days 9 hours a day:-). | | Re: fax loses 9 as a prefix The Microsoft Fax was never a very good solution for me. It lacks many features. I am now using Aloaha Fax from www.aloaha.com and I find it really good.
