| | Re: Cannot print from IE browser Hi, I'm having the same problem, however, it's hard to follow the instructions about the "low" folder, as I don't have the suggested path at all. Under c:\users\username\ there isn't a folder called appdata. I have contacts, desktop, documents, downloads, favorites, links music pictures, saved games, searches, and videos. A file search doesn't turn up any folder appdata, or "low". Any ideas? -- TIA, Sue "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: Quote: > How about replying to my most recent post (both on 16 May-08) in your own > thread first, please, Tony? => > http://groups.google.com/group/micro...6309e8b6f161d3 > > That being said, you can see all replies to /this/ thread in Google Groups > archive: > http://groups.google.com/group/micro...2fccee53d28f1a > > See replies by Don Varnau (Nos. 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10). > -- > ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) > MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 > AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net > DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ > > > Tony Zamboni wrote: Quote: > > Where do I find Don's reply. > > > > I have looked at most of the posts and do not see Don in the from column. > > Tony Zamboni > > > > "PA Bear [MS MVP]" <PABearMVP@xxxxxx> wrote in message > > news:uNpQU7grIHA.3616@xxxxxx Quote: > >> See Don's reply. > >> > >> jf1 wrote: > >>> How can I check the integrity level? > >>> > >>> "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: > >>> > >>>> You should have replied to Don's last post, not mine. > >>>> > >>>> Does the folder have the required integrity level? > >>>> > >>>> > >>>> jf1 wrote: > >>>>> I have found the low folder. when I open the low folder there is > >>>>> another > >>>>> low > >>>>> folder inside it that is empty. there are also other files which are > >>>>> parts > >>>>> of web pages in the folder. what should I do please. > >>>>> > >>>>> "jf1" wrote: > >>>>> > >>>>>> sudden and yes sp1 installed tonight. > >>>>>> > >>>>>> "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: > >>>>>> > >>>>>>> [crossposted to Vista Print_Fax_Scan newsgroup] > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> Is this a sudden, new problem or an ongoing one? > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> Is Vista SP1 installed? <=just a question, not a suggestion or > >>>>>>> recommendation! > >>>>>>> -- > >>>>>>> ~PA Bear > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> jf1 wrote: > >>>>>>>> vista business, yes default browser > >>>>>>>> > >>>>>>>> "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: > >>>>>>>>> Windows version? | | Re: Cannot print from IE browser Hi, Follow these instructions from MVP Bill Castner to recreate that folder and give it the required integrity level: - - - 1. Create a Low folder at C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Temp\Low * * * You already have the Low folder, right? Don't recreate it. 2. Start, Run, and enter in the box: (copy & paste or type carefully - change "YourName" to the account name) icacls C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Temp\Low /setintegritylevel (OI)(CI)low (There is a space between "setintegritylevel" and (OI) ) Hit Ctrl+Shift+Enter to run the command with Administrator priviliges. - - - In the future, don't allow third-party cleanup programs or Vista's Disk Cleanup to clean the Temp folder. Clean it manually. Don [MS MVP- IE] "Sue" <Sue@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:EA063C03-90F6-4F1D-973D-C80667A5E6E7@xxxxxx Quote: > Sorry, I found it.
