Spooler stops after attempting to print IE page

I continually receive "Spooler SubSystem App stopped working and was closed"
when trying to print a googlemaps page. It used to be other programs too, but
now it seems with all the "fixes" I've applied, it only happens with specific
pages, such as the one I will list at the bottom of this page as it is a long
address. Is that the issue? I'm grasping at straws now, and would really like
to be able to print normally.

Firstly, I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on a new Dual core 2 Gb RAM
Compaq with a locally (USB) attached HP LaserJet 1020. Since the middle of
January I had no problems, until May 5, when the Spooler started closing. I
did not add any hardware or make any drastic changes, I just assumed it was a
Windows Update that the tempermental HP driver coudln't deal with. Any help
here would be greatly appreciated.

After many friendly HP Helpdesk Online Chats and many "fixes", this is what
I have done so far (at least):

- Checked LPD & LPR and unchecked Internet Printer Client under Windows
features.
- Ran "sc config spooler depend= RPCSS" successfully. (I had to turn off UAC
even when using an Admin account)
- Uninstalled & reinstalled LJ1020 printer using newest drivers from HP.
- Created new user, gave it Admin rights, created new printer, printed to it.
- Downloaded newest driver (again) and ran EZinstall from
lj1020_1022-HB-pd-win32-enp.exe. Also tried loading it Manually using "Have
Disk"
- Regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> ControlSet001 -> Control -> Print
-> Environments -> Windows NT x86 -> Version -3 -> Remove All Printers From
Here. Deleted HP first to see If that resolves the problem. It did
not.Deleted all printer from this location. Start the printer spooler and
reinstall the printer drivers. Although the registry link supplied was
incorrect I believe (it should read ...nt x86 -> DRIVERS -> version 3...), I
did complete this step.
- I'm sure there are other things I've done, but at the moment this is what
I remember!

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a little tired of dealing
with the very friendly but ultimately
just-reading-from-a-script-and-helping-three-other-people-at-a-time HP
helpdesk.

Here's the link that will always stop my spooler as of May 5th:
