| | Re: Vista SP1, Netgear PS101v1 Print Server... cannot configure printer Just a quick follow-up. I managed to get the printers to work. I had to reinstall the NETGEAR printer and server applications on each Vista computer then select a LOCAL printer as an IP printer. It refuses to work if I try to access it as a LAN printer but it does work through the LAN when I select a local IP printer... go figure. It was so simple in XP. Note --> I can only manage the print server via the XP computer. In the meantime, I can see the status by entering http://198.168.0.xxx (print server address) and the status comes-up. ______________________ The Traveller Carlsbad, California |
