| | Re: Scanning with multiple pages If you want to create one large PDF, then you can scan each page in turn.... but you'll have to have a PDF creator application such as CutePDF or Acrobat installed. If it's a lot of pages, yes, it's going to take a long time. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/windows "Lynx282" <Lynx282@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:B397772A-DDF7-4599-8C7F-030C471A0F33@xxxxxx Quote: > Thank you for your reply > > It's under microsoft vista - Windows Fax and Scan, although it's the HP > psc > 1210 which has no doucment feeder. > > HOW TO SCAN MULTIPLE PAGES AND SAVE AS ONE SINGLE FILE WITHOUT DOCUMENT > FEEDER? > > Lynx282 > > "Cari (MS-MVP)" wrote: > Quote: >> Depending on what applications your scanner comes with, it's usually Save >> as >> PDF or other such option. >> -- >> Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging >> www.coribright.com/windows >> >> "Lynx282" <Lynx282@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> news:1EF0534B-04F0-45F0-9502-1393AFAB3E7F@xxxxxx Quote: >> > How to scan multiple pages and save as one single file without document >> > feeder? >> |

| | RE: Scanning with multiple pages Lynx282 I don't know if this is too late, but the following is from the HP site regarding YOUR printer. "Scanning multiple pages Manual multi-page scanning is possible with the software included with the all-in-one. To prompt for additional pages, on the Preferences tab of the Scan Picture settings or the Scan Document settings, select Prompt for additional pages after each scan from glass . Most graphics programs do not support multi-page scanning. Microsoft Word will stack multiple pages of pictures one on top of the other but will correctly accept multiple pages of editable text." Hope this helps. -- regards CL :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "Lynx282" wrote: Quote: > How to scan multiple pages and save as one single file without document feeder? |

| | RE: Scanning with multiple pages Addendum: Multipage scanning will not work in Fax & Scan. Your will have to scan the page/s to disc & then 'attach' the saved file to the fax. -- regards CL :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "Lynx282" wrote: Quote: > How to scan multiple pages and save as one single file without document feeder? |
