| Guest | Re: hp LASERjET 1500 Printer Driver Thanks, I tried that with a download from HP and it took the software this time (would not with the disk.) I tried a test page got an error message that it is not sent. Would trying HP 1600 drivers work since it is Vista compatable? Would it mess up other the other computer to have two different drivers for the same printer (MY wife and I network to the same printer). If I can not get the printer to work, I am wondering if I am betterr off just partitioning the hard drive and adding XP and office to the new partition and using it instead of Vista. Are there any pitfalls with that? | Guest | Re: hp LASERjET 1500 Printer Driver I checked and found that I had two printers with the same name. I deleted one and this time it worked. | Newbie | Re: hp LASERjET 1500 Printer Driver Hello, i have the same issue, but what is the solution: is it the XP drivers (i have try that solution but without sucess) or the 1600 printer driver vista ? Thanks a lot for your help ps: i was wondering if working with a NAS with printer support could help, but normally a piece of code should be install in the client computer too so i guess that the problem is the same even if the printer is shared on the network ? Isn't it ? Hurray!
