In some cases you can use drivers for an older operating system; i.e., in your case drivers for XP. On some printer models this works. I've never heard that it works for scanners but it will cost nothing for you to try. Make a System Restore point first. Some people have reported success using VueScan. http://www.hamrick.com/ VueScan isn't free but there is a trial version so you can see if it works for you. VueScan is $80, so it might be more cost-effective to purchase a new scanner. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! FAQ - http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/#FAQ |
