Re: Dell Laser Printer 3100cn "File Too Large" error

I would imagine that the error means that the file is too large to load into
the memory on the printer, laser printers tend to copy the files they are
printing into onboard memory prior to the print operation. However the best
way to be sure of this would be to search for the error either on the
support website for this printer, or in any help files supplied in the
printer. you should then be able to find a more detailed explanation of any
error you get, and therefore take appropriate action.

Re: Dell Laser Printer 3100cn "File Too Large" error

I'm sure that is what the error means. I had a simular problem on a HP coulor laser about 10 years ago and I had to change something in the print spooler. I have looked in the manual and online and cannot find the error message I am getting.

I'm sure this printer must ba able to print a 3 meg jpg.
