| | SpoolerWin32SPL Errors While checking my Event Logs I ran across some SpoolerWin32SPL errors that all say: The print spooler failed to reopen an existing printer connection because it could not read the configuration information from the registry key S-1-5-18\Printers\Connections. The print spooler could not open the registry key. This can occur if the registry key is corrupt or missing, or if the registry recently became unavailable. Searching the web turns up others with the same issue, some who have simply added the Connections key (mine is indeed missing) and the problem was solved. Is this the suggested way to fix this issue? -- Sandy Wood Orange County District Attorney |

| | Re: SpoolerWin32SPL Errors Hey Sandy, the error is bogus since the System account S-1-5-18 cannot have a printer connection. Ignore the error or add the key. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base here: http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1 This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
